Well, there I was working happily on the Jacksons, making progress with my research and adding information to the Jackson page when I noted a little detail on a wedding certificate.

When John Jackson McKee married in 1926 he named his father as Hugh Graham McKee. No document shows this middle name for him but it made me think: John had his mother’s surname as a middle name and he probably reckoned that his father had the same with his mother’s surname.

I located a McKee-Graham wedding with correct names and correct part of the world and found myself burrowing into a warren of Grahams as a result. Some information is presented after the Jacksons on that page but there is a lot to research yet.
